A wedding toastmaster's job, at its heart, is simple to describe and genuinely demanding to do well: to hold the shape of the day so that you don't have to. Announcements made at the right moment, guests gently steered to where they need to be, speeches introduced with the right amount of warmth, and a hundred small decisions made quietly enough that you never notice them being made at all.
In the weeks beforehand I like to speak with your venue coordinator, your photographer, your band or DJ, so that by the time your wedding day begins, we're already working as one team rather than meeting for the first time.
That matters because a wedding has more moving parts than almost any other event I host, and every one of those parts is being handled by someone who is excellent at their job. My role isn't to manage them, it's to make sure nothing falls between any gaps and spot opportunities that when they arise can further enhance your day. Your photographer gets the shot, your band gets its cue, and you get to actually be at your own wedding rather than running it.
A proper conversation about how your day will run, and outreach to your other suppliers so everyone's working from the same running order.
Announcements, introductions, and guest guidance handled so smoothly that most guests will feel relaxed and appreciate just how well your day played out through all the memorable stages.
From the order speeches are given in to the small courtesies that matter to your families, handled with whatever degree of formality suits your day.
Weather changes, a speaker gets nervous, a timing slips — the value of having someone experienced in the room is exactly in the moments nobody planned for.

"We would like to place on record our most grateful thanks for the thoroughly professional approach you made as MC at our wedding… The wedding breakfast was run efficiently and your control of the occasion exemplary." — Susan and Ron Wyatt
"You helped make our day run smoothly, whilst making it still feel special. From our first meeting through to the actual wedding day, you relieved us of any worries we had, and guided us when we needed to make decisions." — Sam and Paul Roberts
"We are grateful for everything you did throughout the day from helping out at the church to gathering everyone for photos. We would definitely recommend you to anyone getting married." — Leanne and Matthew
Every wedding is different — this starts with a conversation, not a quote request.
